Our Story:

Hours Beer is an innovative craft brewery based in Japan, dedicated to brewing distinctive artisanal beers for local bars and dining establishments. Driven by a desire to share their passion for craft brewing with the community, the company sought to establish a brewery that would not only reflect their unwavering commitment to quality but also showcase the vibrant local culture. To turn this vision into reality, Hours Beer began searching for a brewing equipment manufacturer capable of providing professional-grade equipment, expert consultation, customized design solutions, and reliable after-sales service.

In their search for a suitable partner, Hours Beer discovered Tiantai Equipment—a leading manufacturer of brewing systems. Through online research, Hours Beer explored Tiantai Equipment’s official website, which featured detailed case studies and examples of successful installation projects completed in Japan. Tiantai Equipment’s proven track record in the Japanese market—coupled with its extensive product line and professional industry reputation—successfully captured Hours Beer’s keen interest.

Recognizing the potential synergy between the two organizations, Hours Beer reached out to Tiantai Equipment via email and established contact with the sales representative responsible for their region. Upon receiving the initial inquiry, Tiantai Equipment’s professional sales team began working closely with Hours Beer’s principals to gain a deep understanding of their unique requirements. From the very outset of the project, we obtained Hours Beer’s facility layout, which our technical team then utilized as a foundation for the design process.

Our technical drawings included detailed specifications for the entire brewing system, covering every component—from the mash tun and fermenters to the bright tanks, valves, piping, and other auxiliary equipment. The design solution also placed significant emphasis on workflow optimization, aiming to ensure that the brewery could maintain efficient and seamless operations as it expands its scale in the future.

Throughout the design phase, Hours Beer and Tiantai maintained a close collaborative relationship, engaging in frequent communication and consultation. Hours Beer offered suggestions and feedback, while Tiantai leveraged its expertise to provide detailed responses and subsequently refined and optimized the design solution to align with the client’s specific needs.

After several rounds of revisions and refinements, Hours Beer expressed their complete satisfaction with the final design solution. Once the design was officially approved, the Tiantai team promptly forwarded the specifications to the factory to commence manufacturing. Prior to leaving our facility, every piece of our equipment undergoes an extremely rigorous process of quality control and performance testing.

Once manufacturing was complete and the equipment had successfully cleared all quality inspections, Tiantai contacted Hours Beer to initiate the final step of the process: remote video acceptance. Utilizing video conferencing technology to establish a live link with the Hours Beer team, Tiantai guided the client through a detailed virtual site inspection and demonstration of the equipment using real-time video feeds.

As the equipment was being shipped to Japan, Tiantai’s after-sales installation specialists arrived in advance at the Hours Beer facility. They stood ready to immediately commence the unloading, installation, and commissioning work the moment the brewing system arrived. Through close collaboration between both parties, the assembly of the brewing equipment was successfully completed. From system calibration and ensuring accurate pipeline connections to conducting comprehensive tests of the entire brewing process, the Tiantai team remained on-site throughout the operation. They not only ensured a smooth and seamless installation process but also stood ready to address any questions or concerns the Hours Beer team encountered during the setup phase.

With the installation work successfully concluded, Hours Beer is now poised to begin brewing their inaugural batch of craft beer. We eagerly anticipate their first brew, and we are honored to have provided Hours Beer with their very first brewing system.
