The liquid CO₂ storage tank is specially used for storing liquid carbon dioxide. After vaporization, the CO₂ is supplied to brewery process sections such as beer carbonation, tank transfer, filtration, deoxygenation, and filling machine cleaning.

Structural Features

  1. Double-layer Vacuum Insulated Structure

The tank adopts a double-layer cylindrical structure. The interlayer is filled with expanded perlite and treated with vacuum pumping, delivering excellent cold insulation performance. It effectively reduces the evaporation loss of liquid CO₂ and maintains storage quality stability.

  1. Complete Safety System Configuration

Equipped with comprehensive multi-level safety protection devices to ensure full-range operational safety:

Dual safety valve system: One set in working status and the other as standby. Once the main safety valve opens, the standby set takes over immediately to guarantee reliable pressure relief.

Explosion-proof design: Combined with explosion-proof valve, vent valve and three-way ball valve to reduce pipeline welding points and improve fire and explosion-proof safety.

Pressure balance port: Realizes pressure balance during tank filling and discharging, avoiding potential safety hazards caused by pressure fluctuation.

Dual pressure relief protection: The inner tank is fitted with an independent pressure relief device, and the interlayer is equipped with a relief port B, forming double protection to further enhance safety performance.

  1. Instrument and Control System

Fully equipped with complete instruments and control components for real-time operating condition monitoring and stable system operation:

Integrated pressure gauge and level gauge valve: Real-time monitoring of internal pressure and liquid level of liquid CO₂ for accurate inventory and process status control.

Temperature sensor: Precisely monitors operating temperature ranging from -60℃ to -40℃ and gives timely early warning of abnormal temperature.

Differential pressure gauge and oxygen pressure gauge: Continuously monitors system pressure difference and oxygen pressure to ensure all operating parameters meet process requirements.

Electric valves, ball valves and stop valves: All made of low-temperature resistant stainless steel, adapting to cryogenic working conditions with long service life and flexible operation.

  1. Optimized Pipeline Interface Design

Reasonable layout and convenient connection to adapt to various production conditions:

Liquid inlet: 2″ threaded connection with dual upper and lower liquid inlet modes, flexible for different filling scenarios.

Liquid outlet: Directly connected to the vaporizer to steadily deliver liquid CO₂ to downstream processes.

Gas return port: Allows vaporized CO₂ gas return to realize system circulation.

Vacuum port: Flange connection for convenient interlayer vacuum maintenance and long-term stable insulation performance.
